vivo launched in India earlierInternational version of vivo V60Continuing the previous generation's four-curved design and partnering with ZEISS Imaging, the 5000-megapixel ZEISS super telephoto lens, combined with ZEISS's professional portrait technology, enhances the shooting experience. Meanwhile, the battery capacity has been upgraded to 6500mAh, achieving both slimness and long battery life within a body measuring only 7.53mm thick.
In terms of the screen, the vivo V60 uses a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED four-micro-curved display panel, supports 120Hz frame refresh rate, supports HDR10+ and 10 billion color display, and also has a local peak brightness of up to 5000nits. It also integrates 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and SGS low blue light certification, and has built-in under-screen fingerprint recognition.
The body design continues the choice of glass and plastic composite materials, with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, and provides a one-button water discharge function. In addition, it has a built-in VC intelligent cooling system and stereo dual speakers to provide stable performance and audio-visual experience.
The core hardware is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 mobile platform, using LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage specifications. It is also pre-installed with Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15 (not changed to Origin OS as previously rumored), and promises 4 years of system updates and 6 years of security updates.
Other specifications include support for 5G + 5G dual SIM dual standby, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared remote control and other functions, and pre-loaded AI services such as Google Gemini and Gemini Live, providing AI subtitles, AI call assistant and other smart functions.
The imaging system features a triple-lens main camera design, including a 5000-megapixel main lens (with optical image stabilization), a 5000-megapixel Zeiss super telephoto lens, and an 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera also uses a 5000-megapixel Zeiss lens with autofocus, and both front and rear cameras can record 4K video. Although the fill light area is smaller, AI 3D fill light and AI Light Effect Portrait 2.0 technology can produce more natural skin tones and lighting effects in low-light environments.
For the Indian market, vivo has also added a "Wedding vLog" mode to the V60, which can automatically generate wedding-themed videos and share them instantly. In addition, it provides image post-production tools such as AI Four Seasons Portrait, AI Magic Move and Wedding Portrait Studio, highlighting its localized market strategy.
With its long battery life, Zeiss telephoto lens, and in-depth AI applications, the vivo V60 targets the mid-to-high-end market segment where long-term use and imaging requirements are equally important, and also increases the brand's competitive advantage in India and other emerging markets.
vivo V60 is available in three colors: "Moonlight Blue", "Auspicious Gold" and "Mist Gray". The suggested retail price in the Indian market starts at 36999 rupees, which is approximately NT$12663. It will be officially launched on August 8 and is expected to be launched in the Taiwan market later.
