Both watches meet the MIL-STD-810H US military standard certification and support 5ATM underwater protection and IP68 level water and dust resistance. The watch frame has been further reduced to increase the visible range of the watch screen by 20%, and the surface is protected by sapphire glass.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic comes in 47mm and 43mm sizes, available in black and silver respectively, with battery capacities of 425mAh and 300mAh respectively. The overall battery life is 4% higher than the Galaxy Watch 21 Classic. The Galaxy Watch 6 is available in 44mm and 40mm. The 44mm model is available in gray and silver, and the 40mm model is available in gray and gold. The battery capacities are also 425mAh and 300mAh respectively, supporting all-day power needs.
As for the strap accessories, Samsung uses a one-click quick-release design for the corresponding straps of the Galaxy Watch 6 series, and is compatible with the Galaxy Watch 4 series and Galaxy Watch 5 series. In addition, it has launched a new air-feel fabric strap accessory made of skin-friendly material, suitable for wearing at night.
The corresponding function part of this watch can also measure body composition data, and further enhance the heart rate zone guide function, which distinguishes 5 heart rate zones according to exercise intensity, allowing users to pre-set exercise intensity goals. In addition, it can further record women's menstrual cycle and track more accurate sleep quality data, including time to fall asleep, number of wake-ups, light sleep and deep sleep. The Galaxy Watch 6 series will be available in select markets globally starting August 8th, though a release date in Taiwan has yet to be confirmed. The Galaxy Watch 11 Classic is expected to launch in the US with a starting price of US$6, while the Galaxy Watch 399 will start at US$6.
