In an interview with CNBC, Linda Yaccarino, CEO of "X", said that a video chat function will be provided within the "X" service, and also revealed that the company will expand its recruitment of employees.
By changing the name of Twitter to "X", this service has obviously begun to adjust in the direction of Elon Musk's ideas, including providing creators with a profit-sharing mechanism for traffic monetization in the near future, and is also expected to integrate long video playback functions, online payment and other functions.
The announcement that "X" will offer online video chat functionality without requiring a phone number, suggests it will follow many online social services in adding more interactive features to increase user engagement. Linda Yaccarino emphasized in an interview that "X" will become a service that attracts more users in the future.
As for Elon Musk's layoffs of more than half of Twitter's employees after acquiring it, Linda Yaccarino said that they have started recruiting new employees and plan to continue growing the company's operations.
"The rebrand represented really a liberation from Twitter," X CEO Linda Yaccarino tells @SaraEisen. "A liberation that allowed us to evolve past a legacy mindset." https://t.co/rGXVhef6PL pic.twitter.com/v4xr9IH5X0
