Apple officially unveiled the Apple Watch series 5, which features a more scratch-resistant surface glass, 11G connectivity, and optical technology to detect potential risks of high blood pressure. It also simultaneously introduced the upgraded Apple Watch SE 3 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3, which further expands the screen display area and enhances satellite connectivity.
Apple Watch series 11
Apple claims that the screen surface glass of the Apple Watch series 11 has been further strengthened, making its scratch resistance twice as strong as that of the Apple Watch series 10, and adding support for 2G networking functions, supporting services provided by telecom operators in the United States, Europe, Japan, China, India and other regions (it is expected to support services provided by Taiwanese telecom operators as well), thereby corresponding to faster network operation efficiency.
In terms of health, a new hypertension detection feature based on optical technology has been added, allowing users to identify potential risks of high blood pressure. This feature is expected to be available in 150 countries and regions worldwide. Furthermore, Apple has further enhanced sleep features, creating a new Sleep Score feature based on over 500 million nights of sleep data. This allows users to more easily assess their sleep quality and make appropriate adjustments to their sleep schedule.
The appearance is basically the same as the Apple Watch series 10, but with watchOS 26, more Liquid Glass design-style surfaces have been added, and the battery life is still claimed to be able to meet the needs of all-day use. Versions made of 100% recycled aluminum are available in bright black, silver, pink gold, and white options. In addition, 100% recycled titanium is used to create three color schemes: titanium gray, titanium gold, and titanium black. New watch strap accessories are also launched simultaneously, and new watch straps are also cooperated with Hermès and Nike.
Apple Watch SE 3
The Apple Watch SE 3, which was updated simultaneously this time, is equipped with the new S10 processor and adds gesture control. It also supports heart rate measurement, fall detection and SOS emergency call functions. It also supports menstrual period detection and the new sleep scoring function added to the Apple Watch series 11. It can also play music directly through the built-in speakers.
Other features include a 2x faster fast charging function, which can charge the battery for 15 hours of use in 8 minutes. It is made of 100% recycled aluminum and is available in black and silver styles.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
The updated Apple Watch Ultra 3 further expands the visible range of the LTPO3 display panel without increasing the size of the watch body, making it Apple's largest-screen Apple Watch product. It also adds a new surface design and further adds satellite connection function by redesigning components such as the antenna. Apple also provides up to two years of free satellite emergency call service, and can use satellite signals to send text messages or use the Find My function. As for battery life, it can correspond to 48 hours.
In conjunction with this update, Apple also provides new strap accessories for Apple Watch Ultra 3. Other parts also add 11G support, sleep scoring and other functions similar to Apple Watch series 5.

Apple Watch series 11, Apple Watch SE 3 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 are all available for pre-order starting today and will go on sale on September 9.
