Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), said the rumored12.9-inch iPad AirThe display panels used have already started shipping.
Prior to this, Tianfeng International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo pointed out that Apple is preparing to launch an iPad Air with a 12.9-inch display screen, and it will use the same oxide backplane technology as the iPad Pro with a mini-LED display screen, in order to attract users who want a large screen but do not need the hardware performance of the iPad Pro.
If nothing unexpected happens, the 12.9-inch iPad Air is expected to debut at the spring 2024 launch conference and will be an additional option to the existing 10.9-inch model.

The iPad Pro will upgrade its mini-LED display to an OLED format and incorporate an M3 processor. Its exterior and structural design will also be adjusted. Mass production is expected between the end of the first quarter and the second quarter of 2024. Furthermore, since Apple plans to add a 12.9-inch model to the iPad Air, pricing for the new iPad Pro series will increase, potentially accelerating sales of existing iPad Pro models.
As for the entry-level iPad (11th generation), it is expected to enter mass production in the second half of 2024, while the mass production of the updated iPaqd mini is expected to be delayed to the second half of 2024.
