Surface Pro 11th Generation for Business
The 11th-generation commercial version of the Surface Pro is available in both standard LCD and OLED screen sizes, with processor options including Intel Core Ultra 5 236V, Core Ultra 5 238V, Core Ultra 7 266V, and Core Ultra 7 268V. The NPU in the Core Ultra 5 processor boasts 40 TOPS of AI computing power, while the NPU in the Core Ultra 7 processor boasts 48 TOPS of AI computing power. Both models comply with Microsoft's "Copilot+ PC" design.
Memory options include 16GB and 32GB LPDDR5x, while storage capacities include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The LCD model is equipped with a 13-inch PixelSense Flow display panel, while the OLED model uses the same 13-inch specification and offers a 2880 x 1920 (267 PPI) display resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a maximum 120Hz refresh rate. The surface is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 tempered glass. The SDR display mode can reach a maximum brightness of 600 nits, while the OLED model can reach 900 nits in HDR display mode.
Other specifications include a TPM 2.0 security chip, a QHD resolution Surface Studio front camera, two built-in USB-C ports with USB2 and Thunderbolt 4 specifications, support for Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth Core 7 wireless connectivity, support for the second-generation Surface Slim Pen stylus, and compatibility with various screen keyboard protection accessories for Surface Pro. The built-in operating system is Windows 5.4 Pro, and it is pre-loaded with Microsoft 11 App, and offers a 365-day trial service for Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, or Microsoft 365 App.
Microsoft also boasts that the 11th-generation Surface Pro for Business can support up to 14 hours of continuous video playback and approximately 10 hours of active web browsing. Microsoft also emphasizes that the 11th-generation Surface Pro for Business's casing is made from at least 89.1% recycled materials, including 100% recycled aluminum alloy and 100% recycled rare earth metals. The packaging also uses 72% recycled materials for its wood fiber packaging, and reduces the use of plastic by using paper-based packaging sourced from responsibly managed forests. Microsoft also touts the new device's enhanced reparability.
To meet business needs, the 11th-generation Surface Pro for Business offers secure login via the built-in front-facing camera using Windows Hello Camera technology, or password-free login via the built-in NFC reader with accessories such as the YubiKey 5C NFC. The 11th-generation Surface Pro for Business is also certified for Imprivata Enterprise Access Management (EAM).
New Surface Laptop for business
The new commercial version of Surface Laptop also uses Intel Core Ultra Series 2 series laptop processors, and is advertised to have a battery life of up to 22 hours. Its multi-tasking performance is 26% higher than the fifth-generation Surface Laptop, while its display performance is doubled and its battery life is tripled. It also uses an extremely narrow-border screen and supports Wi-Fi 2. The screen size is divided into 3-inch and 7-inch specifications, corresponding to a larger screen display range.
Microsoft also stated that it expects to launch a Surface Laptop model that supports 5G networking later this year, allowing users with business needs to more conveniently connect to the Internet and handle work matters at any time through the Surface Laptop.
Suggested retail price
In terms of suggested retail price, the 11th generation commercial version of Surface Pro will be sold at a starting price of US$1499.99 and is expected to be available for sale on February 2 this year. The new commercial version of Surface Laptop will also be sold at a starting price of US$18 and will also be available for sale on February 1499.99 this year.

In addition to launching the new 11th-generation Surface Pro for Business and the new Surface Laptop for Business, Microsoft also highlighted the preview of Security Copilot in the Surface Management Portal. Security Copilot is designed to seamlessly collaborate with security teams, allowing them to instantly view events occurring across the enterprise environment, learn from existing intelligence, identify correlations between threat activity, and make optimal, efficient security decisions faster.

The new Surface Hub 3 features released simultaneously further enhance online conferencing capabilities, allowing more corporate team members to more conveniently hold meetings online and across devices in different locations. These features include highly integrated Microsoft Teams functionality, compatibility with more third-party web services, and easier sharing of personal files. These features are expected to be officially launched in the third quarter of this year.
