The Wall Street Journal reportedTesla may launch an investigation into CEO Elon Musk's alleged misuse of company funds for a personal housing project near its Austin Gigafactory.
The project, called "Project 42," involves purchasing special glass building materials at a cost of millions of dollars. Companies associated with senior executives including Elon Musk are also purchasing large amounts of land near Austin, which has attracted the attention of many Tesla employees.
In addition, this suspected house design concept for personal use includes a cube constructed of glass, as well as personal living spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens, so it is speculated that it may be used for personal needs.
Elon Musk has not responded to this, and the Tesla board of directors has not yet announced the progress and results of the investigation.
