According to TCL, this design can be used in future displays or other screen designs that need to be rolled up and stored. It can also create more display application possibilities, such as the rollable electronic newspaper that was once imagined.
At the same time, TCL also emphasized that this roll-up screen will use 100% color gamut to display picture content and can be used on various types of displays.
Although the current display is a 17-inch rollable screen, and it is even expected that this screen will be used in future tablet devices, TCL does not want to be limited to this screen design concept and believes that the rollable screen design has more application potential.
In addition to unveiling a 17-inch rollable and retractable screen design, TCL also showcased a 6.7-inch stretchable AMOLED screen design, which can be applied to mobile phone product design and can also meet different usage needs by changing the screen size.
