Bose announcedThe all-new "Lifestyle Collection" home audio lineupThey launched the Lifestyle Ultra smart speaker, the Lifestyle Ultra soundbar, and the Lifestyle Ultra subwoofer all at once. This new system not only fully supports Google Cast and Apple AirPlay, but also emphasizes the flexibility of "modular" configuration, allowing users to seamlessly upgrade their listening experience from a single room to the ultimate living room surround theater.
Lifestyle Ultra Speaker: A flexible unit that operates independently and expands around the speaker.
As the most basic building block in this series, the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is a compact smart speaker. In terms of design language, it features a fabric mesh cover with a touch panel on top, and incorporates a rather intuitive "radial slider" to control the volume.
• Individual configuration:It has three built-in drivers, including two forward-firing drivers and one "upward-firing" driver. Through the exclusive TrueSpatial audio processing technology, the spatial sense of the upward-firing driver can be brought to the extreme.
• Wiring and Acoustic Technology:It features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a traditional 3.5mm audio jack, and supports Alexa+ voice assistant. In addition to being used individually or paired for stereo, it also incorporates CleanBass technology, incorporating QuietPort acoustic design, to ensure powerful bass without distortion.
Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar and Subwoofer: Creating a 7.1.4 Channel Living Room Flagship
To meet the primary entertainment needs of the living room, Bose has launched the high-end Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, along with exclusive ultra-deep bass.
• Robust basic acoustics:This soundbar features a 5.2-channel configuration, housing up to six full-range drivers (two of which are upward-firing), a center tweeter specifically designed for dialogue, and two PhaseGuide drivers that provide precise directional sound.
• Modular firepower demonstration:If 5.2 channels are not enough, players can use the two Lifestyle Ultra Speakers mentioned earlier as rear surround speakers, and add a Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer to expand the system to a complete 7.1.4 channel configuration.
• AI and Spatial Correction:Addressing the pain point of different living room layouts in most families, the system has built-in CustomTune spatial correction technology; more importantly, its "SpeechClarity" function can enhance dialogue clarity through AI, solving the problem of not being able to hear the main characters' dialogue in many movies during explosion scenes.
• Appearance design:The top of the soundbar features a seamless glass material paired with touch buttons, presenting a highly modern and sophisticated feel.
These three Lifestyle Ultra products are expected to officially launch on May 15th and are currently available for pre-order in the US market. Pricing is as follows: the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker in black/white is priced at $299 (the limited-edition tan version is $349); the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar has a suggested retail price of $1099, and the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer has a suggested retail price of $899.
