After firmly establishing its position in the daily commuting and general business ride-hailing market, Uber has decided to further challenge the traditional high-end limousine segment. Uber recently announced the launch of...A new luxury ride experience called "Uber Elite"This service, which initially operated on an invitation-only basis, targeted high-level executives and the top tier of customers seeking the ultimate travel experience.
In addition to the latest luxury car and professional driver available within the last three years, Uber Elite offers exclusive privileges such as a personal baggage carousel with a sign for airport pickup and customized champagne, making it the ultimate upgrade to the existing Uber Black.
Vehicles must be within three years of age; enjoy a seamless "airport pick-up" experience.
According to official information, this new service, called Uber Elite, will be provided by professionally trained drivers, who are required to drive the latest luxury vehicles that are "less than three years old".
For business travelers who frequently travel between countries, the most appealing feature is undoubtedly the newly launched "Meet and Greet" exclusive service. Through this service, passengers can arrange airport terminal pick-up and drop-off details in advance, and a dedicated driver will be waiting directly at the "baggage claim" area inside the airport, allowing passengers to enjoy a premium and seamless transfer experience as soon as they get off the plane.
Champagne and sparkling water served, with 24-hour dedicated customer service.
In terms of the in-car experience, Uber Elite also raises the bar. Uber states that all Elite trips will come standard with a charger, bottled water, mints, and premium wet wipes.
If these basic amenities still don't satisfy the most discerning customers, passengers can even request special items like sparkling water or "champagne" directly through the app before their ride. Uber emphasizes that they will work with partners to fulfill these customized wishes "where feasible."
In addition, once a passenger successfully books a ride with Uber Elite, they can enjoy 24/7 hotline customer support to ensure that any unexpected situations can be resolved at any time.
Prioritizing enterprise users, and adopting a phased approach to unlocking cities.
In terms of booking, Uber Elite is integrated into the existing Uber App and can be accessed through both Uber Reserve and Uber for Business. Passengers enjoy a high degree of travel flexibility, planning their trips up to 90 days in advance and booking no later than one hour before departure.
The service will initially launch in Los Angeles and San Francisco, followed by New York, with plans to gradually expand to other U.S. cities and international markets. Currently, the service is invitation-only; invitations will be prioritized for frequent users of Uber Black and Uber for Business before being made available to the general public in the future.
If users believe they are eligible or have a strong need for the service, they can now go to the official website to join the waiting list and wait for activation.
