SK hynix announced the launch of the Beetle X31 portable SSD in Taiwan, making it the company's first consumer storage product sold in Taiwan.
The Beetle X31 features a stylish design, supports 10Gbps data transmission speed, and has an excellent temperature control system to ensure stable data transmission.
The design concept is inspired by the beetle, and it is presented with a curved aluminum alloy shell. It is durable and has auxiliary heat dissipation effects. At the same time, it uses exquisite paint to increase the texture of the surface. It is drop-resistant from a vertical height of 2 meters and comes with a 3-year warranty. It measures 74 x 46 x 14.8 mm and weighs only 53 grams. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, Android and other devices.
In terms of access performance, the Beetle X31 uses an additional memory design to speed up access, with sequential read speeds reaching 1050MB/s and sequential write speeds reaching 1000MB/s. A 1GB file can be transferred in about 1 second.
Beetle X31 is now available on momo and PChome 24-hour shopping platforms. The suggested retail price of the 1TB storage capacity version is NT$3300.
In addition, Hynix also announced the introduction of its SSD products, including the flagship Platinum P41 SSD, which uses the PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe interface and achieves a sequential read speed of 7000MB/s and a sequential write speed of 6500MB/s. The 500GB version has a suggested retail price of NT$2799, the 1TB version has a suggested retail price of NT$3999, and the 2TB version has a suggested retail price of NT$5999. It also comes with a 5-year warranty.
