As an important piece of the Taiwan Mobility ecosystem, USPACE, a parking sharing platform strategically invested in by Taiwan Mobile, recently launched the world's first USPACE Premium subscription service.
This is not just a "monthly parking plan," but a comprehensive travel solution integrating airport pick-up and drop-off, chauffeur services, car washes, and even a "black card concierge." Lin Chih-chen, General Manager of Taiwan Mobile, pointed out that since investing in USPACE in 2022, through the injection of group resources and international expansion, USPACE's revenue has grown approximately sevenfold in three years, demonstrating that the cooperation between the two parties in the field of smart mobility has moved from simple capital investment to a stage of deep service integration.
Parking lots transformed into "lifestyle gateways," with subscription-based tiered systems.
The core concept of USPACE Premium is to transform parking lots, a basic necessity, into "nodes" connecting various lifestyle services. The service uses a tiered subscription system, with four levels: Green Card, Gold Card, Platinum Card, and a limited-edition Black Card.
• Green Card (Monthly Fee: NT$3680):Targeting young commuters, it offers daily free parking hours in designated areas, as well as basic airport pick-up and drop-off and chauffeur services.
• Gold Card / Platinum Card (Monthly Fee: NT$6980 / NT$9980):For business and family customers, we will increase the availability of "all-you-can-park" areas and provide pick-up and drop-off services for high-end vehicles.
• Black Card (Monthly Fee: NT$16800):Limited to 365 participants worldwide, by invitation only. The main features include unlimited parking throughout the venue and a 24-hour dedicated concierge service to assist with booking tickets to popular concerts, upscale restaurants, or arranging customized itineraries. Subscribe before the end of January 2026 for a first-year early bird discount of NT$13800 per month.
Taiwan's strong support for overseas expansion has quadrupled MyCharge's revenue.
Lin Chih-chen emphasized that USPACE's rapid growth validates the effectiveness of Taiwan's "Greater 5G" strategy's GSEA (Greater Southeast Asia) layout. USPACE has already successfully acquired Japan's Nokisaki and invested in Thailand's JORDSABUY and Indonesia's Soul Parking. In the future, it plans to export this integrated "parking, charging, and sharing" solution internationally.
On the other hand, Taiwan Mobile's own MyCharge charging service has also performed exceptionally well. Its revenue has quadrupled in the past year, with more than 100 stations and 550 charging piles built across Taiwan. It has also been connected to the LINE GO and LUXGEN vehicle networking systems, allowing car owners to enjoy the convenience of "plug and charge".
Analysis: The "VIPization" of Mobile Services
In my opinion, the launch of USPACE Premium signifies that Taiwan's mobile service market is shifting from "competing on price" to "competing on prestige."
In the past, parking apps mostly engaged in price wars, but for high-end customers who use their cars frequently, the real pain points are "guaranteed availability" and "saving time on tedious processing." USPACE uses a subscription model to package fragmented services such as parking, car washing, and chauffeur services, and even adds concierge services similar to American Express Black Card, which is a very innovative attempt in Taiwan.
Furthermore, Taiwan's Commerce Minister Lin Tung-min revealed plans to integrate OTT content such as MyVideo into electric vehicle entertainment systems. This suggests that future "mobile living" will no longer be just about parking the car, but about providing a richer digital experience while in the car and waiting to charge. This is precisely the biggest advantage that telecom operators have in entering the mobile market.
