For electric vehicle owners, the anxiety of "charging" in Taipei often stems from long queues. However, Tesla Taiwan gave its owners a big gift today (February 11th) – the new Supercharger station at Taipei Dome officially opened.
This is not only the largest V4 Supercharger station in Taiwan, but also a milestone for Tesla, marking the deployment of its 700th Supercharger station in Taiwan. To celebrate this moment, the company is offering a three-day "free charging" promotion—simply check in to get free charging!
Eighteen V4 Superchargers are lined up in a row, and there's a surprise in the 700th charging gun cable.
This Supercharger station, located on the basement level (B1) of the Taipei Arena, features 18 of the latest V4 Supercharger sockets. The V4's biggest feature is its longer charging cable design, which is more user-friendly for vehicles parked on different sides or with charging ports on different sides (although it currently primarily serves Tesla vehicles).
In terms of efficiency, the V4 supports a maximum charging power of 250kW. A 5-minute charge can replenish 120 kilometers of range, and a 15-minute charge can provide enough power for more than 300 kilometers of range. That's basically the time it takes to go to the Taipei Dome to use the restroom or buy a drink.
In addition, to commemorate the completion of the 700th Supercharger in Taiwan, a special metal plaque was set up on site. The design incorporates the contour lines of Taiwan's continuous mountain range, symbolizing Tesla's determination to extend its charging network throughout Taiwan.

We'll help you with 125 stations across Taiwan and even get things sorted out with the management committee.
Tesla Taiwan General Manager Yi-Wan Chan stated that Tesla currently has 115 Supercharger stations across Taiwan, covering 70% of the island's population, and the goal for 2026 is to increase the total to 125 stations.
In addition to external supercharging options, Tesla is well aware of the biggest pain point for Taiwanese car owners: the "home charging" problem. Addressing the difficulty of installing charging stations in apartment buildings, Tesla has launched the "Electric Vehicle Friendly Community Project." If your building management committee hasn't yet agreed to install a charging station, Tesla can send experts to your home for a free site survey and planning consultation.
If installation is successfully opened later, new car owners will have the opportunity to receive a discount of up to 50000 yuan on the installation cost. As for detached houses or communities where installation is already available, the lowest price for new car owners this season to install a wall-mounted charging station is only 27000 yuan (within 10 meters of single-phase power).
