Tencent uses Intel's Lunar Lake processor to create an 11-inch handheld game console that supports naked-eye 3D and has detachable left and right controllers.
At the 2024 Intel New Productivity Technology Ecosystem Conference held earlier in Chengdu, Sichuan, Tencent showcased the Sunday Dragon 3D One, an 11-inch handheld gaming console powered by Intel's "Lunar Lake" laptop processor. Besides its 11-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2.5K resolution, it boasts support for glasses-free 3D display and utilizes eye-tracking to ensure optimal screen quality, providing users with the best visual experience. The "Lunar Lake" processor further balances performance and power consumption, boasting compatibility with games like Blade & Soul and Moonlight Blade. The left and right handles are detachable and can be used as wireless controllers to accommodate different gaming needs. The Sunday Dragon 3D One isn't the first gaming handheld to use an Intel processor, or at least a "Lunar Lake" laptop processor. MSI showcased the MSI Claw 8 AI+ at Computex 2024, a handheld gaming device powered by a "Lunar Lake" laptop processor. Intel has also previously collaborated with Dell's Alienware brand to create a concept handheld design called "Concept UFO." However, Tencent currently has no plans to release a commercial version of the Sunday Dragon 3D One, so no further details are available at this time.
