Nubia unveils its new flagship phone, the Z1.5 Ultra, featuring the world's first 70K resolution, true full-size, hole-free display.
Following the recent unveiling of the Red Magic 10 Pro series gaming phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, nubia has also announced the launch of its new flagship phone, the Z70 Ultra, in the Chinese market. In terms of hardware specifications, the Z70 Ultra features the world's first 1.5K resolution, true full-size, hole-free display with a pixel density of 430 PPI and a full-screen blue diamond pixel arrangement. It supports a 144Hz full-screen refresh rate and 2000 nits of peak brightness. It also features a new under-display camera design, paired with the UDC Ultra display chip for improved display quality in the area above the camera. In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it also features LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, and the battery uses silicon carbon anode technology, providing a 6150mAh capacity to meet the needs of extended use. The camera system features a fourth-generation custom optical lens with a 35mm focal length, paired with a variable aperture of f/1.59 to f/4.0. It boasts the ability to mimic the eye's imaging process, resulting in more vivid colors and realistic bokeh. It also features blue-coated glass and an infrared light filter for more accurate color calibration. Like other brands, nubia has included a physical mechanical shutter button on the Z70 Ultra, with a dual-stroke design. A long press quickly activates the camera, while a half press focuses the image, and a full press takes the picture. Other features include IP68/69 dust and water resistance, NFC sensing interaction, and infrared functionality. The new Nebula AIOS operating system features a more intuitive interface and includes AI translation and two-way satellite communication for calls and messaging. In terms of suggested retail price, the Z70 Ultra will be sold starting at RMB 4599, and will be available in two colors: Black Seal (black) and Amber (gold). In addition, a Starry Sky Collector's Edition with a six-layer optical process and micro-etching will also be available. The Z70 Ultra is expected to be launched in the global market on November 26.
