Razer today (July 10th) unveiled its new generation classic mouse, the DeathAdder V4 Pro, marking its 36th design since its launch in 2006. It is the first to incorporate Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 next-generation low-latency wireless connectivity technology, boasting a 37% reduction in latency and a 63% reduction in power consumption. It maintains a stable connection at polling rates up to 8000Hz and offers up to 150 hours of battery life at a polling rate of 1000Hz. Razer stated that the DeathAdder V4 Pro is the result of collaboration with several top esports players, notably Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, a legendary Counter-Strike player who recently joined Team Razer. Kovač used an early prototype of this mouse in competitions starting in January, providing immediate feedback on the mouse's weight, button feel, and overall controllability. He even visited the Singapore R&D center to engage in in-depth discussions with engineers, ensuring the design meets the demands of professional esports. To complement the adoption of next-generation wireless connectivity technology, the DeathAdder V4 Pro features a brand-new wireless connector with a redesigned shape. The new hemispherical design, replacing the previous elongated trapezoidal shape, is designed to house the new wireless antenna. Anti-slip rubber and weighted accents on the bottom ensure stability on desktops. At polling rates up to 8000Hz, Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 technology reduces average latency to approximately 0.291 milliseconds, a significant improvement over the previous generation's 0.461 millisecond reduction. This means users can operate the DeathAdder V4 Pro much faster. Furthermore, the new wireless connector features indicator lights on the front to show connection status, battery level, and polling rate settings, with different lights indicating different statuses. The default polling rate is 1000Hz, adjustable from 125Hz to 8000Hz. The DeathAdder V4 Pro also features a Razer Focus Pro 45K...
