Intel and partners in Taiwan showcase AI PCs and applications powered by the new generation Core Ultra processors
Intel held a "Next-Generation Core Ultra Processor Technology Exchange and AI PC Experience Event" in Taiwan today (April 24th), collaborating with partners such as Acer, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, Lenovo, and MSI to showcase a range of the latest devices and AI applications equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200HX/200H/200V mobile processors, Core Ultra 200S desktop processors, and Intel Arc B-series graphics cards. The demonstration primarily illustrated the computing power of Intel processors' CPUs, integrated XPUs, and integrated graphics, combined with external discrete graphics cards, in various AI applications, and explained common generative AI application scenarios. For example, Lenovo demonstrated how its Lenovo Learning Zone, combined with AI computing methods, can quickly compile real-time audio and text recordings into concise and easy-to-understand notes. ASUS showcased its AI PC products using Intel's AI Playground software to generate images, edit photos, and write complex research papers. MSI showcased its proprietary DigiME software, enabling streamers to create virtual avatars that instantly recognize body postures using AI for live streaming. It also demonstrated intelligent noise reduction through AI technology and a multi-microphone system. Acer demonstrated an application model that uses AI technology to learn product information, recognizing products through the laptop's built-in camera and providing product-related information via a learning model. This model even helps businesses quickly determine product costs and gross profit margins. Gigabyte and ASRock explained how they leverage the computing power of Intel processors to build optimized AI technology application tools on various AI PC platforms, catering to AI research and application needs.
