Nintendo announced that it will launch the Alarmo audio alarm clock in Taiwan on March 3.

Following its recent announcement that the Alarmo alarm clock would be available at all partner retailers in Japan starting in March, Nintendo has now confirmed that it will also be available in Taiwan on March 10th, "MAR10 DAY". According to previous announcements from Taiwanese retailers, pre-orders for Alarmo will open on February 28th, with a suggested retail price of NT$3590. In North America and Japan, Alarmo is priced at US$99.99 and JPY 12980 respectively. Nintendo aimed to make the user experience more engaging with Alarmo; for example, twisting one's body in bed can lower the alarm volume. However, to completely stop the alarm, the clock must determine whether the user is fully awake, or the alarm can be turned off using a button on the top of the clock. Alarmo offers five themes based on the games *Super Mario Odyssey*, *The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild*, *Pikmin 4*, *Ring Fit Adventure*, and *Splatoon 3*. Each theme features seven different game scenes, and more themes can be added via online updates. Besides functioning as a regular alarm clock, Alarmo helps users fall asleep with soothing sounds and tracks their sleep patterns. In addition to alarm clock functionality, Alarmo includes hourly chimes and goodnight sounds. Furthermore, with an internet connection, users can download additional ringtones for free (downloading ringtones requires logging into the user's Nintendo Account).

Nintendo's Alarmo, a special alarm clock launched in Japan and other regions last October, faced severe shortages upon release, leading to its availability being limited to pre-orders via a Nintendo Switch Online subscription and even temporarily halting sales through Nintendo physical stores. Nintendo recently announced that it will open sales to all partner retail channels in March, allowing all consumers to purchase directly. In Taiwan, some retailers have indicated that Alarmo pre-orders will open on February 28th, with a suggested retail price of NT$3590. Currently, Alarmo is available in North America and Japan for US$99.99 and JPY12980 respectively. However, Nintendo Taiwan has not yet released any information regarding this, so it's possible that distributors or traders will resell their versions. Nintendo previously emphasized that it would increase Alarmo production capacity to meet market demand, but whether a similar shortage will occur remains to be seen. In designing Alarmo, Nintendo aimed to make the user experience more enjoyable. For example, twisting your body in bed can lower the alarm volume, but to completely stop the alarm, the clock must detect whether the user is fully awake, or the alarm can be turned off using a button on top. Alarmo offers five themes: *Super Mario Odyssey*, *The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild*, *Pikmin 4*, *Ring Fit Adventure*, and *Splatoon 3*.
