LG announces organizational restructuring to drive business innovation and advance its mid- to long-term development strategy, "Future Vision 2030."
LG's board of directors recently approved a series of organizational changes and senior management appointments aimed at enhancing synergies between internal organizations and driving innovative business portfolios, thereby accelerating the company's medium- to long-term development strategy, "Future Vision 2030." The core of this restructuring is the reintegration of LG's business operations to maximize the potential of existing businesses, strengthen platform-based service operations, accelerate the development of the B2B commercial sector, and secure new growth momentum in promising areas. These changes aim to improve efficiency through strategic choices and resource concentration, thereby creating greater synergies between internal businesses and enhancing future competitiveness. To drive this transformation, LG has also appointed outstanding talent with exceptional expertise, emphasizing the creation of high-performing organizations to drive the company's long-term competitiveness. In this organizational restructuring, LG will establish a new company to strengthen the growth of its HVAC business and become a key part of LG's strategy to accelerate development in the B2B commercial sector, while the overseas sales and marketing company will become the control center for overseas B2B business. Furthermore, display-based businesses (including TVs, monitors, and commercial displays) will be integrated to foster synergies between businesses and expand platform services. New growth drivers will be strategically repositioned to companies with broader business connections to ensure more stable support and create synergies across business areas. The four companies will incorporate "Solution" into their names, echoing LG's transformation into a smart living solutions provider, enhancing customer experiences across diverse scenarios including homes, commercial spaces, mobility, and virtual platforms.
