SwitchBot, known for its lightweight smart home retrofit accessories such as the "SwitchBot robot," showcased its impressive ambitions at CES 2026, announcing its official entry into the "Smart Home 2.0" development stage. No longer content with just controlling switches, it has launched a series of new products with sensing, understanding, and action capabilities through embedded AI technology.
This new product lineup is quite extensive, including the company's first universal household robot, the Onero H1, the Lock Vision smart lock series supporting 3D structured light facial recognition, and the previously announced...MindClip, a wearable AI recording device.
onero H1: A general-purpose robot that can help you with housework
SwitchBot defines the onero H1 as "the most approachable AI home robot," and the onero H1 and its robotic arm component A1 will be available for pre-order soon.
Unlike the single-function robotic vacuum cleaners of the past, the onero H1 has 22 degrees of freedom and is equipped with the OmniSense VLA (Vision-Language-Action) model on the device, which means that it has human-like visual perception and tactile feedback, and can understand the shape, position and interaction status of objects.
SwitchBot says the robot can perform actions such as grasping, pushing, opening, and tidying, and is specifically designed to solve those trivial household chores that are "difficult to automate".
Lock Vision series: Open doors with facial recognition or palm scan.
In the field of smart door locks, SwitchBot launched the world's first Deadbolt door lock using 3D structured light facial recognition—the Lock Vision Series.
It uses more than 2000 infrared projection points to create an accurate 3D face map, emphasizing that it can accurately identify people even when they are wearing hats, glasses or makeup, and has a liveness detection function to prevent photo hacking.
For more advanced needs, the Lock Vision Pro version also adds "contactless palm vein recognition". When your hands are wet or dirty and it is inconvenient to press your fingerprint, you can unlock your phone by scanning the vein pattern inside your palm.
This series supports the Matter universal IoT protocol, can be directly integrated into platforms such as Apple HomeKit, and uses a DualPower dual-battery system to ensure uninterrupted power.
AI-powered everyday gadgets: MindClip, weather station, and pixel lamp
In addition to its heavyweight robots and door locks, SwitchBot has also launched a series of AI gadgets to enhance the quality of life:
• SwitchBot AI MindClip:This wearable device, weighing only 18 grams, is positioned as a "second brain." It can not only record audio but also convert meetings and daily conversations into structured summaries and to-do lists, supporting over 100 languages. Through cloud-based AI services, users can access past conversations and knowledge points at any time.
• SwitchBot Weather Station:Featuring a 7.5-inch E-Ink electronic paper screen that integrates multiple sensors, it can display weather, temperature, humidity, air quality, and calendar information. Most notably, it provides AI-generated weather briefings and daily recommendations.
• SwitchBot OBBOTO:This AI pixel globe lamp has 2900 built-in RGB LEDs and can move in sync with music, display weather charts, or serve as an ambient light for various scenarios.
In addition, Acemate, a sports technology startup incubated by SwitchBot, also showcased the world's first AI tennis robot, which can practice against real people.
