At Microsoft's New York press conference, the first new product unveiled was the Surface Laptop 3. Not only is it equipped with Intel's 10th-generation Core i-series processor, but a 13.5-inch size option has been added to the existing 15-inch size. There's also an AMD Ryzen processor version with RX Vega 11 graphics.
In terms of appearance, the Surface Laptop 3 basically maintains the previous design and also maintains the traditional laptop shape, but the keyboard armrests have replaced the original Alcantara artificial material with an one-piece aluminum body design. In addition, the touchpad area will be increased by an additional 20%.
In addition to Intel's 10th-generation Core i-series processors using the Ice Lake design, the Surface Laptop 11 also features an AMD Ryzen processor with RX Vega 3 graphics for the first time. Microsoft also emphasizes that this Ryzen processor is specifically designed for the Surface Laptop XNUMX and offers higher computing performance than processors of the same level.
In terms of size, Microsoft has also added a 3-inch version to the Surface Laptop 15, giving users a larger screen size and improved heat dissipation. Additionally, both the 13.5-inch and 15-inch versions feature fast charging, which can charge the battery to 1% in approximately one hour.
Compared to previous Surface Laptop series models, Microsoft has added a flexible upgrade design to the Surface Laptop 3, allowing users to easily flip open the keyboard and replace components such as memory.
微軟預計在10月22日正式推出Surface Laptop 3,其中13.5吋版本建議售價將從999美元起跳,15吋版本建議售價則從1199美元起跳。
