For consumers who are not used to the wearing comfort of in-ear headphones but still desire active noise cancellation, there is now a new option that has won recognition at the Japan VGP 2026 Awards. Soundcore announced today (January 27th) the launch of its new Liberty Buds semi-in-ear noise-canceling Bluetooth headphones in Taiwan.

This new product emphasizes a lightweight and breathable wearing experience, and solves the problem of semi-in-ear headphones easily falling out through a unique ear wing design. It also features Adaptive ANC 3.0 adaptive noise cancellation and Anka AI translation function. The suggested retail price is NT$3290.

Semi-in-ear + flexible ear wings = secure and comfortable

The Liberty Buds adopt a semi-in-ear design similar to AirPods, reducing the feeling of foreign objects and pressure in the ear canal.

To ensure a more secure fit, Soundcore has specially designed four sizes of "elastic ear wings." This structure provides sufficient support while maintaining a sense of openness and breathability, so you don't have to worry about the earphones slipping off, even during commutes or light exercise.

Superior Specifications: Hi-Res Audio Quality and 10-Minute Fast Charging

Despite their compact size, Liberty Buds do not compromise on hardware specifications:

• Sound quality:Featuring an 11mm large-size composite diaphragm driver, it supports Hi-Res Wireless certification (expected to support LDAC encoding), delivering delicate vocals and powerful bass. It also supports 360-degree surround sound.

• Noise Cancelling:It adopts the Adaptive ANC 3.0 adaptive active noise cancellation system, which can automatically adjust the noise cancellation intensity according to environmental noise (such as traffic and wind noise), which is a relatively high-end technical configuration in semi-in-ear headphones.

• Battery life:With the charging case, it can last up to 30 hours on the battery. Most impressively, it boasts fast charging capabilities—just 10 minutes of charging provides 4 hours of use, virtually eliminating battery anxiety.

• Protection:It has IP55 dust and water resistance, so you can use it with peace of mind during daily exercise, sweating, or rainy days.

Keep up with the AI wave: Anka AI voice assistant

2026 is poised to be the year of explosive growth for AI applications, and Soundcore has incorporated this technology into its headphones. The Liberty Buds support the new "Anka AI Voice Assistant," which features AI-powered real-time translation capabilities.

Through app collaboration, it can handle face-to-face call translation in over 100 languages, boasting an accuracy rate of 97%. The translated content is not only displayed on the phone screen but can also be played back directly into the headset.

Anka AI can even predict the questions you want to ask based on context, which is quite useful for cross-border business or international travel.
