After Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal and other streaming music services all provide lossless audio content, Spotify is apparently also preparing to launch its own subscription plan that includes lossless audio content, and mayCalled "Superpremium".
Engineer Chris Messina found a "Superpremium" subscription plan in the original code of the Spotify App, which was suspected to be ready for public announcement. Some people even found out that the new subscription plan will be offered at a price of US$20 per month.
If nothing unexpected happens, the Spotify Hi-Fi subscription plan that was previously rumored to be launched will be replaced by the name "Superpremium".
According to previous news, the "Superpremium" subscription plan will provide 24-bit lossless audio quality content streaming services, and provide playlists automatically generated by artificial intelligence, as well as more advanced mixing tools. It also includes 20-30 hours of audiobook playback time.
