Sony announced today (May 4th) that its new wired open-back gaming headset, the INZONE H6 Air (MDR-G600), will officially go on sale in Taiwan starting May 5th. This headset, which emphasizes "ultra-lightweight design" and "spacious sound," weighs under 200 grams and has received public support from the studio of renowned game producer Hideo Kojima. In addition, Sony is deepening its collaboration with the world-class esports team Fnatic, simultaneously launching several limited-edition co-branded peripherals, including mice and mousepads, as well as the new "Purple" colorway of the INZONE Buds true wireless earbuds.

INZONE's lightest ever! The H6 Air weighs only 199 grams and features an open acoustic structure.

The biggest highlight of the newly released INZONE H6 Air is its bold adoption of an open-back acoustic structure, which is also the first time Sony has introduced this design into its gaming headset product line.

• Ultra-lightweight and comfortable to wear:Thanks to its high-quality aluminum alloy frame, the H6 Air's weight has been reduced to an astonishing 199 grams (excluding the detachable microphone and cable). The headband retains the spring-loaded hinge design from its predecessor, the H9 II, effectively distributing head pressure and ensuring comfort even during marathon gaming sessions.

• Advantages of open acoustic spaces:Combined with the gradient vent design on the earcups, the open-back structure significantly reduces sound reflections inside the earcups. This means that the sound won't feel "muffled" or oppressive, but will accurately reproduce highly directional and expansive stereo sound effects.

• Monitoring-grade single-unit enhancement:Internally, it features the same driver unit as their own MDR-MV1 open-back monitor headphones. This ensures that everything from deep bass explosions to subtle ambient sounds is clearly presented with extremely low distortion.

• The exclusive EQ endorsed by Kojima Productions:Through the INZONE Hub software, players can use a new "RPG/Adventure" equalizer (EQ) mode developed jointly by Sony and PlayStation Studios sound designers. This design has also received a public endorsement from Kojima Productions, the developer of Death Stranding.

• Clear communication:Equipped with an adjustable cardioid microphone, its flexible microphone arm allows players to pick up sound precisely, ensuring unimpeded tactical communication.

Faith-driven: Fnatic team collaboration merchandise and "Lapis Lazuli Purple" INZONE Buds released simultaneously.

In addition to the headphones themselves, Sony has also significantly expanded its peripheral ecosystem, especially with the release of several limited-edition products in collaboration with its long-term partner, the Fnatic esports team.

• Fnatic collaboration mouse and mousepad:Includes the INZONE Mouse-A (MSE-G500) wireless gaming mouse, and two mousepads, the INZONE Mat-F (MPD-F900) and Mat-D (MPD-D700). These products all incorporate Fnatic's iconic team logo and orange gradient design (the Mat-F even incorporates design inspiration from the game "Heroes of the Storm"), thoroughly satisfying fans' desire to showcase their loyalty.
