"FlexStrike" is Sony Interactive Entertainment's first large-scale fighting game joystick product. It uses PlayStation Link wireless connection technology with ultra-low latency transmission, or a USB-C cable to achieve ultra-low latency connection effect, thereby meeting the needs of fighting games that require faster operation response, and is compatible with PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.
The FlexStrike incorporates professional-grade design elements, including a beveled design and a non-slip base to ensure it stays in place during intense play. The buttons feature custom mechanical switches for enhanced feedback and durability. Furthermore, a digital joystick developed specifically for this joystick by Sony provides a similar feel to traditional arcade joysticks.
Unlike other third-party joysticks, FlexStrike integrates most of the DualSense controller's features, including a touchpad design, making it even more convenient for navigating game menus and operating the system. Furthermore, via the PlayStation Link dongle, users can connect up to two FlexStrike controllers simultaneously. It can also be paired with Sony's Pulse Elite full-face headphones or Pulse Explore true wireless earbuds to further enhance the overall gaming experience.
The original DualSense controller can also maintain synchronization and connection with the PlayStation 5, and can be switched when needed. Sony Interactive Entertainment has not yet announced the official price of "FlexStrike", but it is confirmed that it will come with a dedicated carrying case for players to carry around.
