Sony earlier confirmed that it will hold an online press conference at 9 am on September 15, and is expected to announce a new α camera product, which is expected to be the recently rumored full-frame mirrorless model α9c.
Sony currently has three full-frame mirrorless camera series: the standard α7, α7s, and α7r. The expected launch of the α7c will target the entry-level market. The "c" in the name stands for "compact", indicating that Sony will target a wider mass market with this model.
Recent rumors indicate that the actual size of the α7c will be slightly larger than the α6600, and it will be available in black and silver styles. It will also use the E-mount design, so it can be directly compatible with existing E-mount lenses.
As for the photosensitive element, it adopts a 2400-megapixel specification and supports 4K 30fps video recording. At the same time, the battery will use the later updated NP-FZ100, which corresponds to a longer power usage time, and uses a USB-C connection port. However, only one SD memory card slot is provided, and it does not use a dual SD memory card slot design like the current model.
The rest of the model is the same as the new one.α7s IIIIt has a flip-up screen design that can be used sideways, and supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
