Compared to the WF-1000XM4, the newly launched WF-1000XM5 has been further reduced in volume by 25% and in weight by 20%. A single earphone weighs only 5.8 grams, but it is emphasized that it can allow users to maintain stability when wearing it.
The sound part uses a redesigned Dynamic Driver X driver unit, which has an area of about 1000mm larger than the driver unit of WF-4XM2.4, with a total area of 8.4mm. The split dome edge structure diaphragm design makes the sound richer, the vocals clearer, and ensures low distortion performance.
The WF-1000XM5 also supports Hi-Res Audio, 360 Reality Audio, and DSEE Extreme digital audio restoration technology, and further supports LDAC high-quality sound encoding and Bluetooth's new generation LE Audio sound technology.
