Sony earlier announced the acquisition of Savage Game Studios, a mobile game development studio with offices in Helsinki, Finland, and Berlin, Germany. This may indicate that Sony will further strengthen the development of the mobile game market in the future.
Savage Game Studios has not yet announced the content of the game it is producing, but according to Sony, the game studio is producing a new 3A-level real-time action service game.
Savage Game Studios will be integrated into the mobile gaming division of PlayStation Studios in the future, which may mean that Sony will not only create mobile games based on existing PlayStation game assets, but also strengthen the development of the mobile gaming market through new works in the future.
However, neither Sony nor Savage Game Studios disclosed the details of the acquisition amount, but confirmed that Savage Game Studios will continue to operate independently in the future and will still be managed by co-founders Michail Katkoff, Nadjim Adjir and Michael McManus.
