Sony Interactive Entertainment's announcement to adjust the PlayStation Plus subscription service fees may also be in response to market inflation and exchange rate impacts, but Taiwan has not yet announced any price increase news.
The price adjustment mainly reflects the annual subscription fee. For example, the annual subscription fee for the PlayStation Plus basic plan will be adjusted to US$79.99, an increase of US$20, while the PlayStation Plus upgrade plan will be adjusted to US$134.99, an increase of US$35. As for the PlayStation Plus premium plan, the price will increase to US$159.99, an increase of US$40.
The adjustment plan will start from September 9th. If you have previously booked an annual plan, the new plan price will be calculated from November 6th of this year, or from the next renewal time. If the subscription plan is adjusted after September 11th, the new plan billing method will be used.
