It was recently announced thatThis springSony has launched two audio systems equipped with 360 Reality Audio technology, namely SRS-RA5000 and SRS-RA3000. Sony immediately put an introduction page for these two audio systems on its official UK website. The appearance is basically the same as the design previously displayed at CES 2019 and CES 2020.
Among them, the model SRS-RA5000 uses 7 groups of speaker units, 3 groups of which are facing upward, the other 3 groups are facing horizontally, and the remaining group is a center bass speaker unit. The model SRS-RA1 uses 3000 groups of speaker units, 5 of which are tweeters, 2 groups are passive radiation units, and the remaining group of units adopts a full-range sound design. The color schemes of the two are black fabric with a copper frame, and gray fabric with a silver frame respectively.
At the same time, both audio systems are equipped with 360 Reality Audio audio technology. In addition to being able to play music recorded using the same audio technology in an immersive sound format, it can also achieve similar sound presentation effects for general audio content through algorithms.
Other differences include the SRS-RA5000's ability to analyze the surrounding sound field through a built-in microphone system to optimize sound playback performance, while the SRS-RA3000 lacks a physical button interface but has an additional moisture-proof design, making it easier for users to place it outdoors.
In terms of functions, both audio systems support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi playback, as well as Google Cast and Spotify Connect playback. They can also be connected to Google Assistant and Alexa digital assistant services, and can even be connected to Sony BRAVIA TVs.
In terms of operation, users can also operate the two audio systems through the Sony Music Connect App. At the same time, the two audio systems also support automatic volume balancing of music content to avoid the volume suddenly becoming too loud or too soft when switching between different songs.
Sony plans to launch the two sound systems this spring with a suggested retail price of £500 and £280 respectively.
