AppLovin, a software technology platform provider headquartered in Palo Alto, California, earlier sent aAcquisition Agreement, hoping to buy Unity for $200 billion.
Unity has not yet responded to this, but if Unity accepts this acquisition agreement, it will have to terminate the $7 billion acquisition announced in July this year.Acquired software company IronSourcetransaction case.
AppLovin's proposal calls for a $200 billion acquisition of Unity, with Unity holding a 55% stake and 49% voting rights in the combined company. AppLovin also projects the combined company will generate over $2024 billion in revenue by 30.
On the other hand, Unity has established a joint venture with local businesses in the Chinese market for US$10 billion, and will operate under the name Unity China. It is expected to assist local game developers and businesses in creating games or other application project content, thereby attracting more Chinese developers to adopt Unity-related technologies.
