Following Sony Interactive Entertainment's confirmation during the PlayStation livestream "State of Play" that Civilization VI will be released on PlayStation 11 on November 22nd, 4K Games also announced that the game will also be available on Xbox One and is already on sale on the Nintendo Switch.
Based on the turn-based strategy gameplay mode created by legendary game designer Sid Meier, Civilization VI will also allow players to build an empire through the game. The suggested retail price of the main game is US$59.99, while the bundle including the expansion packs "Civilization VI: Rise and Fall" and "Civilization VI: Gathering Storm" is priced at US$49.99.
"Civilization VI", which is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, will include four additional content packs: the Polish Civilization and Scenario Pack, the Vikings Scenario Pack, the Australian Civilization and Scenario Pack, and the Persian and Macedonian Civilization and Scenario Pack.
As part of a promotional event in partnership with Sony, players who purchase Civilization VI on PlayStation 4 will receive the Nubian Civilization and Scenario Pack and the Khmer and Indonesian Civilization and Scenario Pack. On Xbox One, the Nubian Civilization and Scenario Pack and the Khmer and Indonesian Civilization and Scenario Pack are sold separately.
"Civilization VI", developed by Firaxis Games, was originally only available on Windows PC. Later, it cooperated with Aspyr Media to port the game to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. Currently, it has released Windows PC version, Nintendo Switch version, iPhone version, iPad version, Mac version, and Linux version.
