TECNO, a mobile phone brand under Shenzhen Transsion, unveiled its first foldable phone during MWC 2023.PHANTOM V FoldLater, it announced the launch of its first vertically folding PHANTOM V Flip, which also uses a special circular AMOLED screen design on the outside.
This phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor and features a body that's as thin as 6.95mm (equivalent to a thickness of 14.95mm). The exterior features a 1.32-inch circular AMOLED screen, perfect for taking selfies, viewing real-time information, and using various widgets. The interior main screen is a 6.9-inch, 2640 x 1080 resolution display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and can hover between 30 and 150 degrees.
The built-in battery uses a 4000mAh capacity and supports 45W wired fast charging, which can charge 15% in 50 minutes and fully charge the battery in 45 minutes. The phone uses the HiOS 13.5 customized operating interface, which is based on Android 13 design, and is equipped with a digital assistant service called "Ella" that boasts the integration of ChatGPT functions.
As for the camera, the main camera is composed of a 6400-megapixel, f/1.7 aperture wide-angle lens and a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The video lens is 3200 megapixels and is designed with an open hole.
Currently, this phone will be launched in the Indian market first and sold at a price of 49999 rupees (approximately NT$19400), but it is not certain whether it will be launched in more markets in the future.
