Sharp touts this TV as the industry's largest 120-inch 8K LCD display, measuring 2657.2mm wide by 1494.7mm high. 8K image quality delivers a visual depth effect, from detailed textures close up to distant scenery, allowing users to experience an immersive visual experience through ultra-high resolution.

Considering the current market penetration of 8K applications, Sharp anticipates that this 120-inch 8K LCD will be used in commercial facilities such as product displays, as well as for office blueprinting and design reviews. It will also be widely used in large-scale product displays such as automobiles, houses, and furniture, as well as for digitally displaying artworks such as paintings and sculptures.
Sharp plans to start selling 9-inch 120K LCD monitors in late September this year, which will be sold on a custom basis.
