Announced to launch in the Japanese market this yearAQUOS R9 and AQUOS wish4, and later in the Taiwan marketroll outLater, Sharp announced today (10/29) that it will launch the AQUOS R12 pro in the Japanese market in early December, and will first launch the AQUOS sense9 on November 11. Both phones will also be launched in markets such as Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia.
AQUOS R9 pro
The AQUOS R9 pro continues the design elements of the previous AQUOS R9 and is equipped with a Vario-Summicron camera system consisting of three lenses. All three lenses use 5030-megapixel sensors, and the wide-angle lens is equipped with a 1/0.98-inch sensor design. The wide-angle lens supports a 122-degree shooting angle specification and also supports macro photography. The telephoto lens has a 2.8x optical zoom function, which corresponds to a maximum optical and digital hybrid zoom effect of 20x.
In terms of hardware, the AQUOS R9 pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, 12GB of memory capacity and a super-thermal plate cooling system. It is also equipped with an extra-large box speaker and a Pro IGZO OLED display panel with a 1-240Hz screen refresh rate and a resolution corresponding to the Quad HD+ specification.
The newly added artificial intelligence application functions include Sharp's unique "Message Assistant" that can help answer calls and quickly summarize the key points of voice content.
AQUOS sense9
The AQUOS sense9, which was updated simultaneously this time, was also supervised by the "miyake design" studio founded by designer Kazunari Miyake. It is available in black, white, green, coral, gray-brown, and blue. The body is made of one-piece aluminum alloy and complies with the US military standard "MIL-STD-810H" design. The shockproof test also meets the "MIL-STD-810G" specification.
