Following the ultra-thin and stylish Motorola Edge 70, which was announced at the end of last year and officially launched in Taiwan at the beginning of this year, Motorola today (March 23) announced the launch of the latest addition to the edge series in the Taiwan market—the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. This new phone, which just debuted at MWC 2026, continues the highly praised classic design language of its predecessor, the Edge 60 Fusion. Through next-generation silicon-carbon battery technology, it packs an astonishing 7000mAh battery capacity into a body weighing less than 200 grams. Combined with military-grade ruggedness and exclusive PANTONE-certified colors, it will aggressively enter the mid-range market with a price point of NT$14990. Furthermore, it can be purchased for free with designated telecom plans.

As the latest masterpiece in the Motorola edge series, the biggest hardware highlight of the edge 70 fusion is its ultra-large 7000mAh battery.
Thanks to its high-energy-density silicon-carbon battery technology, Motorola has successfully broken the stereotype that "large capacity equals heavy bricks," keeping the overall weight of the device to an extremely lightweight 193 grams. Official data indicates that a full charge allows for up to 24.2 hours of continuous YouTube video playback, completely eliminating modern people's daily battery anxiety.
In addition, the new phone supports 68W TurboPower fast charging, which can charge the massive 7000mAh battery from 0% to 100% in about an hour.
In terms of core performance, the edge 70 fusion is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which can easily handle current edge AI applications and multitasking needs while maintaining extreme energy efficiency.
Inheriting the classic aesthetics of the edge 60 fusion, with PANTONE certification and military-grade protection.
In terms of design, the edge 70 fusion fully inherits the elegant style that was widely welcomed by the market for its predecessor, the edge 60 fusion. It cleverly combines Corning Gorilla Glass 7i quad-curved glass with non-slip leather material to provide an excellent grip.
Continuing its deep collaboration with global color authority PANTONE, the edge 70 fusion is launching three PANTONE certified colors in Taiwan: PANTONE Silhouette, PANTONE Blue Surf, and PANTONE Country Air.
Beyond its stunning design, this phone has passed the rigorous MIL-STD-810H US military-grade test, boasting robust "triple protection" against dust, water, and drops. The front-facing 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED Super HD screen is also PANTONE certified and features a peak brightness of 5200 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in bright summer sunlight.
Powered by Sony Lytia sensors, the brand vision announced at MWC 2026 is revealed simultaneously.
In terms of the imaging system, the edge 70 fusion features a 5000-megapixel main camera lens with the highly regarded Sony Lytia 710 sensor, paired with a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and macro lens; the front camera has been upgraded to 3200 megapixels and features PANTONE color correction technology to ensure more natural and vivid skin tones in selfies.
Motorola also reviewed several groundbreaking advancements from MWC 2026. In addition to the edge 70 fusion, Motorola also showcased its first "book-style" foldable phone, the Motorola razr fold, as well as the new MOTO BUDS 2 and MOTO BUDS 2 PLUS true wireless Bluetooth earbuds.
In addition, Motorola announced a deepening of its strategic partnership with PANTONE, launching a brand-exclusive color, "House of Motorola Indigo," which it foreshadows will become the core theme of Motorola product design and brand experience in the coming years.
