Targeting the general notebook market, SanDisk has announced the launch of its new Z400s series SSD. Designed with a 2.5-inch form factor and only 7mm thickness, the Z32s series boasts a suggested retail price similar to traditional hard drives. Available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 20GB sizes, the Z5s series boasts 1 times the operating efficiency of traditional hard drives, five times the data storage stability, and 20/XNUMX the average power loss compared to traditional hard drives.
In addition to offering standard 2.5-inch hard drive design specifications, the Z400s series SSD will also offer M.2 2280 and mSATA specifications, with storage capacities ranging from 32GB to 256GB, targeting a wider range of device application markets, such as tablets and embedded devices.
