Sandisk announced today (June 6) the launch of its SanDisk Creator Series storage products in Taiwan, including the SanDisk Creator Phone SSD, which can be fixed to specific iPhone models using the MagSafe magnetic interface, as well as memory cards, USB drives, mobile SSDs, etc., claiming to meet high-performance and stable storage needs.
The Creator series products launched this time also have a different color style from Sandisk's previous products. They use a gradient blue color scheme, which is significantly different from the previous black/red, black/gray and other color schemes.
Among them, the SanDisk Creator Phone SSD offers a maximum storage capacity of 2TB, corresponding to a read speed of up to 1000MB/s and a write speed of 950MB/s, and supports the storage of 4K 60fps high-definition videos recorded in Apple ProRes format. It also has a rugged silicone shell design, with a maximum drop protection of three meters and IP65-level waterproof and dustproof specifications, and also provides an additional one month of free Adobe Creative Cloud service.
The SanDisk Creator micro SD memory card offers a maximum storage capacity of 1TB and supports 4K and 5.3K high-definition video storage. It can be used with the SanDisk QuickFlow microSD UHS-I Card USB-A reader for high-speed access. The SanDisk Creator SD UHS-II memory card also offers a maximum storage capacity of 1TB and offers high stability.
The SanDisk Creator Phone Drive, launched simultaneously, features both Lightning and USB-C interfaces, offering up to 256GB of storage capacity and automatic file backup via the SanDisk Memory Zone app for Android. The SanDisk Creator USB-C flash drive also boasts a capacity of up to 1TB and offers high performance and durability.
For SSDs, there are SanDisk Creator Pro mobile SSD and SanDisk Creator Desk Drive desktop SSD. The former offers up to 4TB of storage capacity and boasts NVMe specification access performance to provide high-speed data transfer and stable storage characteristics. It can effectively transfer, edit and back up uncompressed images, as well as multi-machine shooting files and AI-generated materials. The latter boasts a data reading speed that is 4 times faster than traditional desktop HDDs, and can quickly transfer and back up large project data.
The SanDisk Creator Phone SSD will start at NT$1 for a 3988TB capacity, the SanDisk Creator micro SD memory card will start at NT$128 for a 599GB capacity, and the SanDisk Creator SD UHS-II memory card will start at NT$1790. The SanDisk Creator Phone Drive dual-use flash drive will start at NT$1980, the SanDisk Creator USB-C flash drive will start at NT$689, the SanDisk Creator Pro mobile SSD will start at NT$4488, and the SanDisk Creator Desk Drive desktop SSD will start at NT$10088.
