Samsung continues to expand its rugged device product line in Taiwan, officially launching the next-generation professional-grade triple-proof tablet device Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro. Designed mainly for frontline professionals, this device combines military-grade durable design, 5G connectivity, hot-swappable battery module and advanced AI functions, further consolidating Samsung's market positioning in enterprise and industrial applications.

Samsung's rugged tablet evolves with the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro.

Inheriting the triple-proof features of the Galaxy Tab Active series, the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro meets the US MIL-STD-810H military standard certification, supports IP68 dust and water resistance, has excellent drop and shock resistance, and has a built-in Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ screen for improved scratch and impact resistance. It also supports glove touch operations and S Pen writing needs, and can operate smoothly even in rainy or humid environments.

To meet the needs of long-term operation, the Galaxy Active5 Pro is equipped with a removable 10100mAh high-capacity battery and supports dual battery hot-swappable function, which can continuously provide power even without interruption of operation. It also provides a battery-free mode, which is suitable for fixed power supply equipment such as medical institutions, vehicle systems or kiosk self-service workstations.

Samsung's rugged tablet evolves with the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, coupled with high-capacity memory and 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity to enhance the device's mobility and connection stability. It is also equipped with Vision Booster technology and a 600-nit high-brightness screen to ensure clear visibility even when used outdoors.

To meet the needs of more industrial scenarios, the device supports dual SIM cards (physical + eSIM combination), front NFC sensing design, and Samsung DeX desktop usage mode. It supports application functions such as barcode scanning, push-to-talk and mobile payment, making it very practical for industries such as retail, logistics, and manufacturing.

The Galaxy Active5 Pro also incorporates several generative AI tools, such as Google's "Search Circles," an image object eraser, and smart summarization, to improve information processing efficiency for frontline operations. Combined with the Samsung Knox Vault security platform, it integrates real-time kernel protection (RKP), application-layer security, data encryption, and device monitoring to help businesses meet their highest security requirements.
