Following the launch of large-scale party speakers by Sony, JBL, and other manufacturers, Samsung also launched two new large-scale party speakers, the ST2025F and ST50F, before the start of IFA 40. These speakers feature powerful sound effects and visual lighting effects, and are targeted at large indoor and outdoor gatherings.
The two new models adopt a redesigned acoustic structure, built-in dual tweeters, and are equipped with Samsung's own Waveguide sound technology, which is claimed to bring a wider and more uniform sound field effect. Dual woofers are added, allowing users to freely choose between three bass modes: Deep, Punchy, and Gentle. In addition, four sound effect modes: Standard, Wide, Stadium, and Outdoor are also provided, and the output performance can be adjusted according to the needs of the venue.
In addition to sound, Sound Tower also pays great attention to visual atmosphere. Through the built-in Party Lights+ lighting effect system, which includes five situational presets and six "dynamic lighting modes", the LED lights configured in five areas can flash in sync with the rhythm of the music. With the Samsung Sound Tower App, you can quickly switch modes.
In addition, Sound Tower also supports DJ Booth and karaoke modes, and can even directly connect a guitar to play, making the party atmosphere more complete.
The two new models differ slightly in design and battery life: the ST50F features wheels and a retractable handle for easy mobility, a 6.5-inch woofer, and 18 hours of battery life; the ST40F, with its primary carrying handle, features a 5.25-inch woofer and approximately 12 hours of battery life. Both are IPX4 water-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor gatherings.
In terms of suggested retail price, the ST50F is US$700 and the ST40F is US$500, and they will be officially available in September this year.
