Samsung recently announced the launch of a rugged phone with a triple-proof design for enterprise use.Galaxy XCover6 Pro, and adds 5G networking capabilities, as well as the Wi-Fi 6E specification with faster connection speeds.
The Galaxy XCover6 Pro is designed to be used in all kinds of extreme environments. Therefore, it complies with the US MIL-STD-810H military standard certification, supports IP68 level waterproof and dustproof, and can also withstand the impact of vertical drops from a certain height. It can even be used while wearing gloves or in humid environments such as rain.
In addition, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro also features a POGO charging specification design, which allows for fast charging through contact connection.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro adopts a 6.6-inch, Full HD+ resolution design, supports a 120Hz frame refresh rate LCD screen, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Victus tempered glass. The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, paired with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage capacity, which can also be expanded via a micro SD memory card. The battery adopts a detachable design and corresponds to a 4050mAh power specification.
As for the camera, it is equipped with a 1300-megapixel video lens, a 5000-megapixel wide-angle lens, and an 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
The operating system uses Android 12 and OneUI operating interface. It also supports Samsung Knox encryption protection and has two sets of customizable buttons, such as quick launch of the barcode scanner or walkie-talkie function. It also has a built-in DeX desktop operation mode, which allows users to connect the screen, mouse and keyboard for desktop-like operations.
The Galaxy XCover6 Pro will be available in Europe, Asia and the Middle East in July this year, and will be launched in more markets later.
