Chen Qimeng said that the launch of the new phone has made major adjustments to the previous design details, such as improving the camera specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 so that it can achieve the same shooting effect as the Galaxy S22. At the same time, by simplifying the screen folding mechanism, the weight of the phone has become lighter, and the screen display ratio has been readjusted to make the outer screen closer to the general mobile phone usage experience. The inner under-screen lens has also been redesigned to improve the overall imaging effect. Even the multi-tasking interface and S Pen application functions have been upgraded.
As for the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the overall design has also been readjusted to make it more durable, while also improving the photography and overall user experience, and changing the traditional mobile phone usage mode through the vertical concave folding method.
As for the price, Chen Qimeng explained that although the market is currently affected by inflation, they have still managed to keep the price of the new machine at the same level as the model launched last year. Only some specifications have seen price increases. This time, they have even added a 1TB storage capacity specification to the entire series of color styles, making it easier for consumers to choose the right model according to their needs.
In addition, this year, the company is also offering discounts on old phones and other preferential programs to lower the threshold for purchasing new phones, hoping to make it easier for more people to switch to foldable phones. It even stated that last year, it observed that many Apple users chose to switch to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, so it believes that this year will be able to further attract more Apple users to switch camps.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra still attracts different user groups
However, starting with the launch of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3, which added S Pen support last year, Samsung hopes to transfer the original usage demand of the Galaxy Note series models to this type of products. Furthermore, the updated Galaxy Z Fold 4 also boasts noticeable camera upgrades, further enhancing its appeal.
The Bespoke Edition phone may have the opportunity to be introduced in other ways
Regarding the Galaxy Z Flip Bespoke Edition, which currently has no plans to launch customizable color options in Taiwan, Chen Qimeng explained that this is primarily due to differences in sales models, necessitating adjustments in the sales system. For example, Bespoke Edition products are manufactured after a customer places an order, making the current Taiwanese market, which primarily sells products through inventory, unsuitable for introduction.
