As previously rumored, Samsung also followed suit and used titanium to create the new Galaxy Watch Ultra for advanced sports use. It also launched the Galaxy Watch 6, which is positioned as the successor to the Galaxy Watch 7.

Both watches are made using Samsung's 3nm GAA process.Exynos W1000 processor, thereby corresponding to faster execution response speed and improving power utilization efficiency.
Galaxy Watch Ultra
The Galaxy Watch Ultra, with its titanium frame and available in Titan Silver, Titan Gray, and Titan White, is designed for advanced sports use, suitable for temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C and altitudes from -500m to 9000m. It features a 47mm diameter, 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 480 x 480 resolution, along with an always-on display. The display is protected by sapphire crystal and includes 2GB of internal memory and 32GB of storage.

The built-in 590mAh battery capacity can correspond to approximately 100 hours of battery life in power saving mode, or 48 hours of usage time in sports mode, and 60 hours of usage time when the always-on display mode is turned off. It also supports wireless fast charging.
In addition, the watch body has a 10ATM waterproof specification and an IP68-level waterproof and dustproof design. It also meets the MIL-STD-810H US military protection standard and can also be worn for underwater diving. Unfortunately, Samsung does not provide additional marine diving assistance application functions like Apple.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is also equipped with L1+L5 GPS positioning functions. The new version of the BioActive sensor element further adds the function of using ultraviolet light to irradiate blood vessels under the skin, thereby detecting the body's AGE index and determining whether there are signs of glycation that affect body aging. It can also measure heart rate and judge cardiovascular health, sleep quality, apnea and other conditions.


As for sports data measurement, in addition to being able to measure a variety of sports, it can also support training schedule functions that combine multiple sports, path competition mode, and record aerobic threshold (AT) and anaerobic threshold (AnT) heart rate zone data.


The operating functions have been expanded to include pinch-to-zoom and gesture operations, or through the right quick launch button corresponding to single press, continuous press, long press for 2 seconds or long press for 5 seconds, as well as long press for 5 seconds to activate the emergency siren call function. At the same time, the Galaxy AI function can also assist in replying to messages. The operating system is equipped with Google Wear OS 5, paired with Samsung One UI 6 Watch operating interface.


Galaxy Watch 7
The Galaxy Watch 7, launched simultaneously this time, comes in Forest Green and Glacier Silver versions with a 44mm watch diameter, a 1.5-inch screen and a 425mAh battery capacity, and in Forest Green and Glacier Silver versions; and in Forest Green and Starlight White versions with a 40mm watch diameter, a 1.3-inch screen and a 300mAh battery capacity. Both versions use Super AMOLED displays and are also protected by sapphire crystal glass.

The hardware specifications also use the Exynos W1000 processor, coupled with 2GB of memory and 32GB of storage capacity. It also supports wireless fast charging. As for the watch body, it is equipped with 5ATM waterproof and IP68 level waterproof and dustproof, and also complies with the MIL-STD-810H US military standard design. The operating system is also equipped with Google Wear OS 5, coupled with the Samsung One UI 6 Watch operating interface.


Listing Information
Both the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 will be launched in specific markets on July 7. The former has a suggested retail price of US$24, while the latter starts at US$649. The launch time in the Taiwanese market has not yet been confirmed.
