Regarding the new foldable phone that will be unveiled soon, Samsung revealed earlier that there will be no obvious gap when the new phone is folded. It also revealed that the vertical foldable phone Galaxy Z Flip5 will have four color options including purple, green, black and white.
Compared to the foldable screen phones developed by Chinese brands including Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo, which all emphasize that there will be no gap after folding, and even further claim that there will be no obvious crease when the screen is flattened, the foldable screen phone that Samsung is expected to launch this time will obviously follow the same design, thereby improving the problems that foldable screen phones have been criticized in the past.
Prior to this, Samsung also revealed a new phone with a foldable screen.Focus on "people-oriented", "intuitive use", and "light and thin" design, which includes making the body thinner and lighter, while the hinge mechanism will also be more durable.
However, the foldable screen phones launched by Samsung in recent years have always faced problems such as screen durability. Although Samsung provides two free replacements for the original screen protector within one year of purchase and provides repair services within the warranty, there is still controversy as to whether the fold of the screen is natural damage or man-made. Perhaps the design of the new phone launched this time can improve it.
The next Unpacked event will be held on July 7 and will be held in Seoul, South Korea for the first time. The new products expected to be announced include the new foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold26 and Galaxy Z Flip5, as well as three tablet devices: Galaxy Tab S5, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, and the Galaxy Watch 9 smartwatch.
As to whether the Galaxy S23 FE will be unveiled at the same time, it cannot be confirmed at the moment.
