The Samsung AI Forum event held in Seoul, South Korea recently announcedSamsung Gauss, a large multimodal language modelLater, Samsung further explained the specific features of this multimodal large language model during the SDC Korea 2023 held earlier, and confirmed that it will support six languages including English, Korean, Japanese, French, Spanish, and Chinese when it is launched.
Samsung said that Samsung Gauss will be able to automatically generate grammatically fluent English letters in response to Korean input, or integrate PDF document files and summarize the key points in different languages. The Samsung Gauss Code Eye function can help write programs and even generate codes through natural language dialogue.
Other application functions include converting text descriptions into corresponding images, or helping users translate the content of long articles. Previously introduced functions also include applications such as instant translation during calls.
In addition, Samsung also confirmed that when Samsung Gauss is launched, it will support six languages including English, Korean, Japanese, French, Spanish, and Chinese, in order to attract users from more countries and regions to experience related application functions.
In related information, Samsung Gauss is expected to be used in the annual flagship mobile phone Galaxy S24 series to be launched early next year, and more mobile artificial intelligence computing functions are also expected to be added.
