In addition, Samsung also emphasized that the 870 EVO is compatible with various PC devices and can be installed through a 2.5-inch SATA connection interface. Its built-in sleep mode is also compatible with Microsoft Windows Modern Standby function, thereby achieving power saving effects.
The 870 EVO utilizes Samsung's in-house V-NAND 870-bit MLC (TLC) chips and a custom controller. Samsung also emphasized minimizing the carbon footprint of the XNUMX EVO SSD during production, significantly reducing the product's environmental impact.
