Samsung earlier added a new feature to its Samsung Health App.Medication tracking function, which will allow users to better understand when to take their medication or when to refill it.
This feature is expected to be available in the US market later. Users can enter the name, photo, dosage and time of regularly taken medication in the app, and set a periodic time to remind users to take the medication on time or to remind them to pick up the medication again.
Samsung said that this feature uses drug information from Elsevier, an information analysis company and global provider of scientific, technical and medical information, allowing users to refer to more reliable information to know the correct way to take drugs, as well as related potential side effects or contraindications.
To use this feature, your phone's operating system must be upgraded to Android 8.0 or higher, and the Samsung Health App must be updated to version 6.26 or higher. Available features may vary depending on the phone model.
