Samsung announced that it will add more smartwatch experience to the new One UI Watch 4.5 version, including adding QWERTY full keyboard input, adding dual SIM card function, and adding more barrier-free usage modes.
This update will be available for Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and the upcomingGalaxy Watch 5Series use.
The newly added QWERTY full keyboard allows users to switch between different modes directly through swiping gestures, making text input more intuitive. Furthermore, One UI Watch 4.5 also allows users to freely switch input methods. For example, if you start with voice input, you can switch to keyboard input when you want more privacy.
The newly added dual SIM card function allows users to set different eSIM information. In addition, more customized surfaces have been added, and different color and function combinations can be selected, or different surface settings can be quickly switched according to needs.
In addition, in response to accessibility needs, the system has added adjustable hues and enhanced contrast for color-blind users, making screen fonts easier to read. Other visual assistance features include reducing transparency and blur, and removing animation effects. At the same time, a hearing assistance function has been added for hearing-impaired users, which can adjust the left and right sound balance for paired Bluetooth headphones.
Other features include the ability to adjust the volume and notification display duration, as well as the ability to set the home button to frequently used functions. All help tools are integrated into a single menu, allowing users to quickly find individual function settings without having to navigate through multiple settings.
