Ubisoft unveiled Riders Rebublic at the Ubisoft Forward online conference, a massively multiplayer outdoor sports game that allows players to experience the thrill of extreme sports in an open world.
Rise of the Republic will be released globally on February 2021, 2, for PlayStation 25, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows PC (sold via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store). A Traditional Chinese version will also be released simultaneously.
Among them, those who purchase the Xbox One or PlayStation4 version of "Rise of the Republic" will be able to upgrade to the next-generation game console version for free.
From arid canyons to snowy mountains, Rise of the Republic will take players through many of the most magnificent locations on Earth, including the United States National Park, Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Giant Sequoia Park, Zion, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain and Grand Teton. These attractions will be faithfully transplanted into the game and create the most unique and dynamic arena.
Players can team up with or against friends in multiplayer modes:
- Races and Stunt Challenges: Available in PvP and single-player modes, players will enjoy the thrill of these races and challenges.
- Mass Start: This is a frantic, no-holds-barred race for 50 or more players. Players must watch their blind spots and protect their positions as they bump, shove, and fight their way to the finish line.
- Multiplayer Arena: Dominate the map in 6 vs. 6 PvP battles.
- Online Cup: Let the best players show off their skills and eventually reach the top of the leaderboard.
In Career Mode, players can rise to prominence in various sports, conquer the leaderboards, and sign contracts with a host of renowned outdoor sports sponsors. Players can create and shape their own extreme athlete through evolveable equipment and customize every aspect of their character, whether they want to become the world's best snowboarder or the fastest cyclist.
Rise of the Republic boasts a 60 FPS refresh rate on next-generation consoles and can display over 50 players simultaneously. Combined with intuitive character and camera controls and an innovative special effects system, Rise of the Republic offers players, from casual to hardcore, the opportunity to experience unprecedented fun from the very start.
The Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition of "Rise of the Jedi" are now available for pre-order. The Gold Edition will include the main game program and Year 1 Pass, as well as "Exotic Kits" that allow players to adjust their gameplay in the form of equipment upgrades throughout the year, BMX Sport additional content, and exclusive content added after the game is released. The Ultimate Edition includes the Year 1 Pass and four exclusive appearance packs, offering cosmic, rainbow, neon and skull styles. Players can also get 20 helicopter tickets, allowing them to reach their favorite mountains faster.
In addition, players who pre-order "Rise of the Republic" will receive a bunny pack, which includes a special cute bunny costume, an extra blue bunny head and a rainbow snowboard paint job.
