Recently revealed the new iMac, MacBook Pro and Mac miniExpected to be released in the second half of the yearBloomberg News reporter Mark GurmandisplayApple will launch a new Mac mini equipped with an M4 processor and will also change the body to a size similar to Apple TV.
The Mac minis that Apple has continuously launched in the past have generally maintained the same shape and size design. Therefore, if the new Mac mini with the M4 processor is presented in a smaller body, it will be the biggest appearance change since the third-generation Mac mini launched in 2010.
However, although the width of the fuselage may become about half of the current model, the height may be slightly higher than the current model, but the overall body will still be much smaller.
In addition to upgrading the processor to the M4 specification, Apple may also launch an additional version equipped with the M4 Pro specification to correspond to higher computing performance. The new body design will be equipped with at least three USB-C ports and one HDMI display output, and the USB-A port specification may also be removed.
In addition to launching a new Mac mini, Apple is also expected to launch a new iMac and a new MacBook Pro in the second half of this year. The latter is expected to be equipped with M4 Pro or M3 Pro processors, while the new MacBook Air may not be announced until spring 2025. As for the new Mac Pro and Mac Studio, they will be released after mid-2025.
